This 6” Marine Mechanical Message Center Clock was sold to the United States Defense Supply Richmond VA on March 30th, 1983. The clock itself is housed in a high-impact, black phenolic case with a hinged bezel, and features a black dial displaying 12/24-hour military time with white numerals, white hands, and an additional red GMT hour hand. The dial is marked with “U.S. Army, Clock Message Center, M2", and features a Fast/Slow regulator wheel. The time-only mechanism has been completely overhauled. In addition, the hands, dial, and case have been cleaned. The hinged, hardwood clock case features its original finish, leather strap, and latches. Serial #840785.

Warranty

Your Chelsea Clock is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for at least two (2) years* from the date of original purchase. Any defects or damage caused by misuse, accident, tampering or negligence of the user is not covered by this warranty. All implied warranties covering merchantability, fitness for particular purpose, or otherwise are limited in duration to two (2) years from the date of original purchase. The repair or replacement of any defect is the exclusive remedy under this warranty. In addition, the warrantor shall not, under any circumstances, be liable or responsible hereunder for consequential, incidental, indirect, or special damages. Please note that some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the foregoing limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

In the event of any such defect, pack the instrument and return it to us via UPS, along with an explanation of the defect. We will repair or replace the instrument at our option and expense. Please take care when packing your item, we recommend that the instrument be double boxed when shipped due to the weight of the item and to ensure proper delivery.

*The Ship’s Bells Clocks and Barometers have a five (5) year warranty.
