Description
Our Patriot Deck Clock collection has long been a way to pay tribute to the World War II-era engine room clock that guided ships in the heat of battle. Except for the modern quartz movement, it is a faithful reproduction of the mechanical clock commissioned for U.S. Navy vessels. With a Patriot war clock and base, you can turn this well-known wall clock into a desk clock, offering more display options.
Like all Patriot clocks, this 12/24-hour large military clock is made using a heat- and water-resistant phenolic resin developed specially for military use. Behind the clear glass lens sits a beaming 8.5-inch white dial with contrasting black numbers and hands to easily see the time. You can easily adjust the time thanks to a hinged bezel that locks using a brass screw bolt. The clock sits handsomely on a solid American hardwood base with a matte black finish to complement the case.
Every part of the large Patriot marine mantel clock is handcrafted at our Chelsea, Massachusetts headquarters. Thousands of ships still use the original Patriot engine clocks, and this deck clock and base are made to last a lifetime so you and your family can share the same experience. Your clock has a unique Chelsea Clock serial number that is entered in our logs so you know it is one of a kind. Patriot engine room desk clocks make excellent gifts for nautically-minded friends and employees. We can add names, logos, dates and messages using screen-printing on the dial or an engraving plate on the base.
